We thank you again for the opportunity to transform your home in
The deck features Trex Enhanced Decking with a Enhanced Border. Another feature is our Decks Unlimited Custom Skirting to close off the bottom and give a finished custom look. with black balusters to top it off!!

The porch overhang consists of Trex in all four corners with pre-stained cedar-tone treated lumber. It was an open ceiling concept with a cedar shake inner and outer gable capped with a black metal roof.

This adds to our . We have transformed many porches and love the process. We enjoy the fact that our work changes the look of the home.

YOU CAN SAVE $500 IF YOU PULL THE PERMIT… don’t fall for it 

Most people believe that pulling a permit is just a way for the city or township to make a couple dollars. I’m not saying that that isn’t one of the objectives of the permit fee, but the main idea behind a permit is to not only ensure that things are being built properly but also to make sure that all the liability from the building is put on whoever pulls the permit.
Whoever pulls the permit, holds all the liability on the project. So when a contractor states that they can save you $500 or $1000 if you the homeowner pulls the permit, you just put all of the liability on yourself instead of the liability being on the contractor. A contractor can’t pull a permit without being licensed and insured. A contractor has to register with the city or township. This registration requires all the contractors information, a valid copy of their builders license, and a certificate of their liability insurance. Being a certificate holder of insurance, if the contractor cancels the policy, the city/township would be notified and the contractors registration will expire.

ALWAYS MAKE THE CONTRACTOR PULL THE PERMIT!!

The permit costs the same regardless of who applies for it.

Also, if a contractor doesn’t want to pull a permit, THIS IS A RED FLAG!

Hopefully this helps to avoid these issues.
