Well, we're a day late for Tech Tuesday. We thought information on different types of masks and how/when to wear them would be appropriate considering they have become mandated for certain environments and recommended for others. As Responsible Restart Ohio kicks off, C.R. Kurtz Heating & Cooling wants to remind you we have been meeting these recommendations since rewriting our infectious disease policy to include COVID-19 and enacting the revised policy on April 1st, 2020. We are working diligently to keep our employees up to date on safety procedures and ensuring they have proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including n99 masks. We are also maintaining social distancing and ensuring employees are symptom and fever free before reporting to work each day. We have made the safety of our employees and customers our top priority long before this pandemic, as safety and comfort are the main tenets of our company mission. For Tech Tuesday, we wanted to provide information from ASHRAE, or the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers. We are heeding the advice of medical professionals and also listening to leading experts who are addressing the relationship between the spread of disease and operation of HVAC systems. Check out the link below to read why disabling your heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems is NOT a recommended measure to reduce transmission of the virus.

At C.R. Kurtz, we value the safety and comfort of our customers and employees. Our policies are up to date on COVID-19. We record employee temperatures and ensure they have no symptoms before reporting to work. Our employees have been trained on proper PPE use and social distancing. They have been issued masks with n99 filters, gloves and shoe covers. We practice social distancing in our office and in the field. Safety and comfort extends beyond our craftsmanship and the air inside your home. They extend to your health as well.

We are essential, so we are prepared to serve safely!
