Position Summary:
This position is responsible for installing and maintaining security systems, alarm devices, central vac, and other related equipment.
Team Members are responsible for:
• Wiring and installing security systems, fire systems, CCTV, access control, central vac, and audio and video components.
• Performing and assisting with new system installations, system upgrades, and run service calls
• Detecting, repairing and/or replacing existing equipment if necessary
• Running and terminating various types of cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Coax, etc.)
• Ensuring proper instruction to customers in the use of equipment
• Accurately document the installation and/or service work
• Working with hand tools and smaller power tools
• Lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and scaffolding
• Maintaining safe and secure work and driving habits
Potential Team Members should have:
• HS diploma required
• At least 1 year of experience as a residential or commercial A/V or security technician
• Knowledge of computer, networking, and programming preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Prior experience with low voltage installations
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
• Very motivated to succeed and maintain a professional attitude
