John founded Landscape Solutions & Maintenance after spending years working f
or larger landscaping companies around the Hartford County area. He and his wife, Heather, wanted to start a landscaping company that actually took the time to understand their clients’ vision, pay attention to detail, set high standards, and then deliver an attractive, quality, competitively-priced final product. John was born and raised in Southington, CT, and attended Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. From there John took many different positions and roles, all leading him to possess the skills necessary to open his own business. Detail-oriented, yet imaginative, John enjoys the creative process as he walks clients through their options, and develops a scope of work. Heather was born and raised in Plainville, CT, and attended CCSU. A full-time 4th-grade teacher in Farmington, she enjoys the reward that comes with seeing her students succeed. John and Heather currently reside in New Hartford, with their 1-year-old daughter, Reilly, and yellow lab, Ramsey. Reilly is eager to start operating some small machinery as soon as possible. Landscape Solutions & Maintenance is a member of the Connecticut Nursery & Landscape Association.
