Sew Golden Dreams Quilts and Embroidery I provide edge to edge and custom longarm quilting services at competitive prices. T- shirt quilts are accepted.

I am an APQS certified master quilter and have been quilting for over 25 years. I offer edge-to-edge longarm quilting services from baby quilts to king-sized quilts. I also attended Nancy Kirk's week-long workshop on the care and restoration of antique quilts, so I can evaluate and possibly mend your family treasure. I also have a 10-needle embroidery machine and offer embroidery services such as

adding a monogram or name to shirts other items. I also make and sell specialty children's products such as embroidered toothfairy pillows, taggie blankies, T-shirts and onesies, as well as baby quilts and water-resistant bibs/smocks. My products are sold in Etsy in the "PoshTotsbyDeb" Etsy shop.

This beautiful wall hanging was made by Janel DeVries. I custom quilted it for her using freehand quilting for the body of the quilt and computerized quilting for the border. I really enjoyed custom quilting this beautiful quilt made by Claudia Snyder. She made it from 100's of 1" hexagons. For the quilting, I used a layer of Quilters Dream cotton batting and a layer of Quilters Dream wool batting to give the quilt a little puffiness. All of the quilting was hand-guided.

Check out all of the new fabrics, quilts, and other fun things made from fabric that are coming out in 2026. I have watched this video at least 6 times and each time see something new. Belle Brunner's husband (he calls himself Quilt Husband) does a great job walking us through the market while he narrates what he sees or chats with designers. He also has a Day 1 video of Belle's booth and a Day 3 video where he finishes up the market booths and then goes to the amazing quilts on display. Enjoy!!

I customed quilted this beautiful hand embroidered Christmas quilt made by Brenda Simons. I manually added stippling around the embroidered snowmen and used my computer system to add digitized designs to the outer borders.

I custom quilted this beautiful baby quilt made by Peggy and Margaret. Using a ruler I manually added cross hatching in the frames around the embroidered animals and using my computer system I added random circles of varying sizes inside the squares. The thread ends are still attached because my customers wanted to bury the threads themselves.

Embroidery designs came from the "Old Toy Collection" by Art Embroidery Designs on Etsy.

Another beautiful quilt pieced by Janet Jones. Thank you Janet for trusting me to quilt it. Digital designs are mountain laurel and amethyst by Urban Elementz. I manually stitched in the ditch on the pieced blocks. I used cotton batting and 100% wool batting to give the quilt more dimension.

With the closing of Joann Fabrics, sewists are worried about where they will find a nice selection of fabric. I’m a longarm quilter and have been making wuilts for over 30 years. I want to take this opportunity to let people who love to make quilts know that the closing of Joann Fabrics doesn’t mean you will no longer have access to large amounts of fabric. There are numerous small business quilting stores that carry better quality fabrics. They also carry multiple fabrics from the same line so you can easily match them up for beautiful quilts. To top it off, individually owned quilt stores are owned by experts in quilting so can answer any questions you may have. Many of them also have classes, and other fun events that you can attend.

Learned another type of custom quilting technique for quilts with areas that you don’t want quilted. This adorable and beautiful quilt was made by one of my customers. She used machine embroidery to make the blocks with the animals, then put it all together. She used netting on the duck and hippo blocks to make it look like the animal was underwater. The animal blocks were already quilted so she didn’t want my machine to quilt over them. So I set up my machine to stitch around the animal blocks.
