At The Happy Lotus Candles my focus is authenticity; I pour each candle with the intention that lighting it will help YOU feel a little more like your most authentic, true self…the self that shines through when you feel safe and secure. Whether your comfiest space is with family & friends, a good book, or under a warm blanket, my candles help to connect you with that feeling and thus, that version

of yourself. Each candle purchased is an investment in a product made by hand in my home, to provide light and warmth in yours. I’ve had an obsession with candles and fire since I was around ten years old. Over the years this obsession has shown up in many ways: melting crayons over candles, working at a candle shop, burning candles in my home at all times, and now, making candles as my [dream] job. I made my first candle in 2016 and was excited when it stayed lit...for 5 minutes before self-extinguishing. But I was determined to make this work because for the 5 minutes that that flame was flickering, I was overjoyed that I had made a working candle. Fast forward to today: my candles stay lit for hours, not minutes, and I’m still just as happy that I get to make candles for a living. I hope you enjoy my candles as much as I enjoy making them; I look forward to working with you!

🕯️ When I talk about a long burn, I mean a candle that performs beautifully for hours; think slow melt, steady flame, rich scent. ⁣

⛅️ I woke up this morning thinking, “Wow, it smells 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 in here!”… because yep, the candle had been burning all night.⁣
⁣
🙊 Not recommended, of course - 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 leave a candle unattended - but that’s the kind of long‑lasting throw I’m talking about.⁣

🍂 The AC is off, I had a hoodie on almost all day, candles were lit nice and early, and I’m currently hunkered under blankets.⁣

🫠 Come say hi & get a whiff of a new scent I’m debuting: 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱: A fruity‑floral scent for the girl who is *𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘭𝘺* holding it together. This candle is calm, cozy, & just a little chaotic. Basically: a candle for when you’re unraveling, but like… aesthetically. ⁣

🕵️‍♀️ I haven’t been on the ‘gram that much recently but I’m still here... 𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨. 😜 ⁣

🔎 Behind me are 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘴, 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘄 in between my head and the desk chair and, if you look closely, a 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘀, 𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴, 𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 and yes, a random snowman stool. 🤷🏻‍♀️ ⁣

🕯️ You know what that means, peeps... I am prepping for one of my top three favorite F words... F-A-L-L.⁣

🕯️ And suddenly my workshop looks like a craft store collided with a football game. ⁣
⁣
👍🏼 So yes, the mess is 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭. Yes, River is supervising. And yes, I’m about to flood your feed with cozy chaos again. But not YET peeps, I mean it’s 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 July 31st, don’t rush me. 😉 ⁣
