When I first moved to Florida I was showing up to every appointment and even the office in heels, a blazer, the whole thing.

And I looked… completely unhinged compared to everyone around me...are you surprised? 🙃

I've loosened up over the years. Flip flops happen. Shorts happen. But I still care — a lot. You're making one of the biggest financial decisions of your life and I'm not rolling up looking like I just came from the beach.

There's a balance. A nice top with shorts still reads put together. A blowout goes a long way. Details matter.

But I'm genuinely curious where people land on this — because I see agents all over the spectrum and I have opinions, but I want yours.

Nobody talks about this part of the job but I'm done pretending it's fine.

Open house signs. That's it. That's the villain of every agent's Sunday morning. You're in a dress, it's 90 degrees, it's windy, someone honks at you from a pickup truck and you just have to smile and wave like a pageant queen who made a series of questionable career choices.

We went to school for this. We study contracts, negotiate six figure deals, and somehow still end up on a street corner with an arrow sign hoping nobody we know drives by.

It's humbling. It's chaotic. And apparently it's just part of the deal.
