One of many customer stories that touches our hearts:

“He can’t talk. He had a stroke,” the young man told me about his dad. They came to our greenhouse to buy pepper & tomato plants. I acknowledged the sadness & frustration of the dad’s losses. He was much younger than I, once had a thriving construction business, but now could only use one arm and utter a few words like “yes.”
With his good arm, the dad pointed to lush hanging flower baskets, then patted his heart, widened & rolled his eyes, & grinned. “You enjoy all this,” I said. He was as silent & delightful as beautiful flowers, and like them, he aroused deep appreciation & joy.
