Located in the heart of Carlsbad Village, Olde Ivy Antiques is home to coastal-inspired decor, vintage finds, and exciting, new products. Every inch of our 2,000 square foot store has been carefully curated, from our founder Lynne Petersen's unique creations at the front of the store, to the collections of our 22 different sellers in the back. These vendors offer their own unique point-of-view and

style, and this all adds up to an eclectic mix of rediscovered treasures, seaside novelties, and trending products. Truly, there’s always something new to love at Olde Ivy Antiques.

As I closed the door to the store for the last time, I was struck by how fast 27 years have gone by. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my family, our group of amazing dealers, and the Carlsbad Village community! I feel so lucky to have been able to get to know so many of the locals and visitors. Thank you to everyone who stopped in and shared your memories of the store with me. It means so much. I’ve loved the store through all the years and have put my heart and soul into it. I am proud of what it has become. Although I will no longer have a store on State St, it will always be a part of who I am. The store gave me a creative outlet and brought me so much joy. As I embark on my next chapter, devoting my time to my passion of interior design full time, I know that the store has led me here. Hi everyone, I have some news to share with you…
After 27 years, I have made the decision to close the shop and begin my next chapter focusing on my design business full-time.

I have always loved the evolution of the shop through the years. I started Olde Ivy Antiques as an expectant mom transitioning from a career in fashion, embarking on a new adventure as an entrepreneur. It has been a creative and exciting process that has continued for all these years. My brand has grown and become the shop I had always dreamed of. Recently, I gave my shop its new name, Ocean Tide Interiors, celebrating our aesthetic as a coastal home furnishings and lifestyle destination.

Requests from clients to bring my designs into their homes has increased over the years and today my design business has expanded beyond my expectations. Helping to create a space that truly reflects the homeowner is so gratifying. It has made me realize that this is my next chapter unfolding!

The decision to close my shop is bittersweet, as it has been a part of me and my family for over two and a half decades. My daughters grew up going with me to flea markets, estate sales, and in recent years, the gift show markets. I will miss all of my dealers, who are such a special part of the Ocean Tide family. I am incredibly grateful for the love and support I have received from the community through the years. I will miss the locals who frequent the shop regularly and the annual visitors who make a point of telling me they come in every time they return to town. I want to thank all of you for making this journey truly memorable! You have meant more to me than you can know!
