The part of interior design you don't usually see 👷🏻‍♀️

Before the pretty pictures, there's this: walking the site, reading the plans and problem-solving in real time with the people who bring it all to life. It takes a team of talent, organization, collaboration and a great client to make design-build magic happen.

Grateful to be on site with a builder who gets it, Wedgewood Building Company.

The final reveal is just the last 1%. The other 99% is the work behind the scenes that no one sees, it's the part we love most.

Welcome to the Water "Loo" 💂‍♂️ Designed for our Capitol Hill revival, we gave this first-floor powder room the Federalist treatment with nods to history at every turn.

Swipe through the before, the design and the after: a red, white and blue dream with antique brass mirrors, a hammered vessel sink, rich accents and a rich mahogany vanity.

We recently had the most incredible evening at the Indiana Design Center: a design panel with two brilliant industry leaders, followed by champagne in our newly renovated showroom. 17 years in, and moments like this remind me exactly why I do what I do.

When you find a collaborator who genuinely gets it, you hold on tight. That's exactly how we feel about Priority Painting & Finishes and the man behind it all, Manny, who has been so much more than a vendor to us since our move to Indy.

From our Indianapolis Decorators' Show House & Gardens rooms to some of our most personal and beloved projects, Manny has shown up every single time with the craftsmanship, care and can-do spirit that makes the work genuinely better. But beyond the beautiful finishes, we're grateful for something even more meaningful: his friendship. Moving to a new city isn't always easy and having someone in your corner who genuinely roots for you makes all the difference.

She brings a sharp eye for detail and operational precision, honed through her background in corporate finance, to the heart of everything we do, supporting the design team and ensuring day-to-day operations stay on track.

Her genuine love of beautiful spaces and thoughtful design makes her an essential part of our creative process, from preparing stunning client presentations to fine-tuning the small details that make a big impact.

Outside the studio, you'll find Tara spending quality time with her family, planning her next travel adventure, or dreaming up her next project.
