Just another helpful hint! Being that we live in Michigan, if you are having composite decking put down, try to have it done when the temperature doesn’t fluctuate a lot. So try to stay away from early spring installs and late fall installs. Composite tends to expand and contract more so than a traditional wood deck so getting a nice result with equal gapping is significantly more difficult in larger temperature ranges!

What a hard few days but in the end it turned out looking great. Tore out this rock garden and leveled it off and planted grass seed. Just a helpful tip, if you use the fine chicken wire for anything that you could possibly want to see out of, take a mini roller with some clothe black paint and paint the chicken wire, it makes it nearly invisible and certainly much less noticeable!
