413 Clarendon 413 Clarendon Carolina Beach, Hurricane Proof ICF house 413 Clarendon is a modern house designed by Kevin Pfirman.

I wanted a house that would withstand all that mother nature could put out. It also had to be energy efficient and could accommodate my growing family. The result was a split level house with constructed out of ICF (insulated Concrete Forms). These are Lego blocks you fill with concrete as you build up. The forms of the ICF make the house very energy efficient. The house will receive Progress Ener

gy's seal of efficiency. The house has radiant heat installed in the floors. If the budget allows solar panels will also be installed on the roof.
