All these plants came out of my garden today and you would never know it. I couldn’t have done it all without John and Kirby from Alexander Nurseries & Garden Designs
So happy these plants will live on rather than end up in the landfill. Holy Agave! I bet there were over 100 Quadricolor, 50 Parryi, 20 Blue Glow, 20+ blue glow hybrid, dozens of Mangave, various Agave and too many Aloe to count.

Artificial intelligence logo generator sometimes gets it right. I love how it designed my garden photo and gave us a new two-story house.

Bloom alert! Disocactus anguliger, commonly known as the fishbone cactus or zig zag cactus, is a cactus species native to Mexico. The species is commonly grown as an ornamental for its fragrant flowers in the fall. But mine are blooming now.

Dirt therapy

I started my garden has away to beautify my landscape and reduce water usage. It seemed like worthwhile project given the fact that California has been a severe drought and I couldn't keep justifing pouring drinking water on a lawn that served no purpose. What I got out of it is one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have met a whole new community of friends and actually ended up becoming a UCCE Santa Barbara County master gardener. Follow me along on my very succulent adventure, learn about water wise gardening, or just enjoy the beauty.
