Once went into a BBQ joint that used to have fairly decent veg options. They changed menu and only veg option was a side salad. Apparently manager changed menu because "why would vegetarians eat at a bbq joint?" My reply, "Because we have friends that are omnivores and we dine together." I never went back. Glad to see this BBQ restaurant, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, gets it....

East coast meat-centric chain Dinosaur launched its first vegan option, a Black and White Bowl loaded with rice, salad, beans, and a portobello mushroom on top.

The Washington, DC meat-free restaurant scene is getting a new addition! Fare Well is opening on June 22nd! Doron Petersan of Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats fame has branched out with a new sit-down restaurant with bar. Can't wait to try it out!

The eatery is the brainchild of Doron Petersan, known as the owner of vegan bakery Sticky Fingers.

The best part of this recipe is that the leftover lentils and tofu used to stuff the squash are great on their own, too. Pair with some brown or jasmine rice and you have a second meal.

The flavor of the delicata squash pairs marvelously with the hint of coconut that's added into the curried lentils and tofu.
