🎍While performing maintenance on a long-time clients' pond, we observed this beautiful Venus Fly Trap that we planted at least 12 years ago. Throughout all of our NC seasons, this Venus Fly Trap has been thriving in the bog we built for our clients.

💚 Fun Facts: Venus Fly Traps are native only to south-eastern NC. They need constantly-wet soil and full sun. And remember to NEVER fertilize them. Given these conditions, Venus Fly Traps should thrive in your care.

🥺 Help! My pond is losing water! Enjoy this pond refresh as Joe shares tips on UV installation and what kind of rocks to not use in a pond build.

💧 CLIENT REQUEST: My husband installed this pond many years ago. It is now losing water and stays green. Can you please help?

⭐️ STAR RIDGE AQUATIC SOLUTION: We cleaned the pond. We dismantled the waterfall to reseal the filter and to remove tree roots that infiltrated the pond. We then rebuilt the waterfall, resealed the skimmer, and added a 35-watt UV Sterilizer. With this pond refresh completed, this pond will no longer leak water, will maintain clear water, and will provide a healthier environment for her fish.

💦 STAR RIDGE AQUATICS SOLUTION: We designed and built a 5’x8’ pond with a pressurized canister filter and UV Sterilizer. Water is being circulated through the filter and fox head with a submersible pump. Water clarity is achieved with the biological / mechanical filter and the ultraviolet sterilizer.

‼️ Help! My pond needs a REFRESH!

💦 CLIENT REQUEST: My husband installed this pond many years ago, and I would like to have it refreshed. Could you please make the water cleaner and healthier? And could you please add a waterfall?

⭐️STAR RIDGE AQUATICS SOLUTION: Star Ridge Aquatics installed a Small Skimmer, a Medium Aqua-Falls filter, a 3100GPH pump, a 55 watt UV Sterilizer, and 50’ of 2” flexible PVC pipe. We built a small waterfall and now the pond water is being filtered. By incorporating the new pond products along with adding a waterfall, Star Ridge Aquatics created a healthy pond environment that will be enjoyed for years to come. Offering clear water and a pleasing sound for the client, this pond truly enjoyed a wonderful REFRESH!

📚 Happy "Back to School" days to our local community.
⛺ We enjoyed a weekend of tubing, camping, hiking, and having fun with our Sweethearts before they returned to school today.
🤣 On our adventure from New River to West Jefferson, Joe discovered his long lost brother!
💦 Although sweet Summertime is officially over for our babies, we are back to work and working hard for our customers on these hot summer days!
