Pictures from January's Bamboo Refinish in Lakeville. Stained with 4 coats of Bona Traffic HD Satin. Wonderfully kind family to work for. I can never thank them enough for their hospitality. I really felt at home there. Very difficult sand! My first cut was with 20 grit diamond plates! But the end result speaks for itself im proud of this one.

More of my home project. Trying to make this Hall/Stairway more toddler friendly. I built a step then finished it with vinyl and a gray nosing. Added Oak treads to the existing pine stairs. This added an additional 2 inches of foot space per tread. It doesn't sound like much but it's safer. Stay tuned for the sand/stain/finish, and new railing when time allows.

Repairs, Cement Leveling and Vinyl Installation

Rebuilt red oak step, faced with vinyl flooring. Stain is classic gray and finished with bona traffic HD Satin. Vinyl Flooring in Hallway and basement over leveled cement. White Pine Stairs and nosing still in progress. Stay tuned.

More pictures from the Somerset, MA Sand and Refinish. Stairs and Landing are Southern Yellow Pine. Stairs and Shelf stained with a Simply White/Classic Gray Mix. Followed by 2 coats of Bona Nordic Seal and 2 Coats of Bona Traffic HD to achieve this unique look. Landing has Slate stain and 4 coats of Bona Traffic HD. Floors are Rustic Beige stained and 4 coats of Bona Traffic HD.

Before and after of the Somerset Ma job.

Old neglected white oak floors, new hallway is red oak.This was a difficult color matching scenario. I used Berger-Seidle's Pinqualizer to remove the red tones from the red oak in the hall. I used a 50/50 Early American/ Rustic Beige stain mix to match the Rustic Beige stained white oak floors. 4 coats of Bona Traffic HD Satin for the finish.
