We are seeking a part-time individual, for material pickup/delivery and light general labor (on call position).

Perfect job for able-bodied retiree looking for something to do, or second shift worker needing extra cash--hours can vary greatly according to flow of business, so this isn't going to work as a primary source of income.

Previous experience in construction industry, and/or knowledge of building materials, would be a plus. Must be responsible, reliable and flexible, and have experience pulling trailers, a valid drivers' license and good driving record. Should reside within 20 minutes of our office in Cary, for practical reasons.
$25/hr., 1099 basis. Please PM if interested.

This came up in our Facebook feed... and it's one of those "funny not funny" things. 🤣😳

We try very hard to keep our costs down, especially on service calls. But well meaning homeowners often don't realize how their involvement can slow us down and increase their bill on a service call, or cost them more money overall, if they have already started the project and their work requires correction.

Always better to leave it to the professionals, and let them do their jobs. 😊

Really pleased with how this project turned out! We were contacted by our longtime customer, Meg, who had a vision for her Master Bedroom and sitting area. She had used an online design service to generate renderings (see first 3 photos) of what she had in mind --"library paneling" accents for her walls, then wallpaper on the outside doorway wall and interior of the sitting area. Once she had everything to her liking, she retained our services (again!) to bring the photos to life.

Our master finish carpenter, Stan, did a lovely job with layout and installation of the mouldings, our wallpaper man installed the paper (a lost art, nowadays), and our painter did the finishing touches (see rest of photos).

We love what we do, and are always honored when customers continue to put their faith in us for their projects ❤️

We did a lot of windows and doors the past month, but that season is finally winding down. Waiting on one more order to come in, and that that may be it for this year.

Here are a few pics of some ancient basement hopper windows that we replaced with modern, dualpane vinyl units and maintenance free exterior finish. Our customer was delighted with the end result :)
