The wind is a bit too breezy outside today so Hope Church has graciously hosted us inside today! The Marlette Farmers Market is right across the street from normal. Come on out we have lots of vendors in here and music too!

The freezers are filling up, and our first batch of meat chickens is officially ready for pickup!

If you reserved birds from this batch, please send us a message so we can arrange pickup and payment.

This is our second year raising meat chickens and our first year raising enough to share with other families. We are thankful for everyone who trusted us with a reservation and supported this project.

While the chickens are headed to freezers, the homestead keeps moving. The turkeys are growing quickly, the garden is finally coming together, and we're getting ready to welcome the next batch of meat chickens on August 3rd.

If you missed out on this round and would like to be added to our reservation list for the August batch, please send us a message. Reservations help us plan and ensure families receive the number of birds they need.

Thank you for supporting local agriculture, small homesteads, and the families who work hard to provide food for their communities. We appreciate your support more than you know.

I am out of town today but if you are heading to the Marlette Farmers Market it has been moved due to the heat and threat of thunderstorms.

Huge thank you to each one of my customers that have been reaching out online during the off season. This year I have had to cut back on farmers markets to be more present with my kids. As most of you know, the funds I make from our homestead go back into caring for the micro-farm and our kids education. The pick ups really help and mean the world to us.

We are working on a farm stand right now and hope to have an addition of pies, chocolate goodies, and veggies this year.

For mother's Day my sons gave me a gift of the special ball jars for the 250 year anniversary. Aren't they adorable? ⭐
