In May of 1974 , The Sandman was started with a $600 (piece of junk) dump truck, that I had to work on every night, in order to run the next day. My sweet little Mother sat home 10 hours a day , to answer our phone calls, because there was not enough income to pay a dispatcher. Thanks to thousands of customers, and God sent employees that came over the years, this month we celebrate FIFTY TWO YEARS in business. We have no magic formula, other than the simple principles taught by my Parents. - “ Always do the best you can, and Always do what you say you will do!” A very special THANK YOU to every single customer, and employees that helped to put food on our table for the last Fifty Two Years. My greatest reward now is watching my 30 year old Grandson, Tanner King, as he takes over our family business. These are a few of the old pictures that have survived.

In May of 1974 , The Sandman was started with a $600 (piece of junk) truck, that I had to work on every night to run the next day. Thanks to thousands of customers, and GOD sent employees that came to help over the years, this month we celebrate FIFTY ONE YEARS in business.
