Looking for a Full-Time Landscape / Horticulture Team Member

Poison Ivy Chronicles – Cazenovia, NY
$25/hour | Seasonal (April–November 2026)

Poison Ivy Chronicles is a small, detail-focused landscaping and horticulture company serving Madison and Onondaga counties. We are seeking one full-time team member for the 2026 season to join our tight-knit, skilled crew.

We specialize in:
• Maintaining perennial gardens and landscapes
• Plant health and proper pruning techniques
• Landscape enhancement projects and garden makeovers
• Building long-term client relationships

This is hands-on, physical, and detail-oriented work. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and enjoys being part of a small professional team.



Responsibilities:
• Spring and fall cleanups, garden bed maintenance (weeding, edging, mulching)
• Planting annuals, perennials, shrubs, bulbs, and trees
• Pruning (corrective and ornamental)
• Fertilization, soil testing, and pest/disease management
• Landscape enhancement projects (new beds, removals, garden renovations)
• Safe operation of landscaping equipment (blowers, trimmers, chainsaws)



Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically strong and able to lift, bend, and work on ladders
• Willing to learn truck and trailer operation
• Experience with landscaping or horticulture is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in work

We value work ethic and character above experience.



Schedule:
• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30–5:00 PM
• Optional Saturdays
• Season runs April–November (weather dependent)



Compensation & Benefits:
• Starting pay: $25/hour
• Company-matched 401(k)
