A huge thank you to the Helmut & Carmen Wiesser Foundation for their generous grant that made it possible for OWLS to purchase a new industrial washer and dryer system.
With thousands of animals admitted each year, laundry is truly never-ending here. Towels and blankets are constantly being washed to help keep our patients healthy and our facility sanitary. During baby season alone, these machines may run all day long.
This new equipment will make a tremendous difference in our daily operations and helps ensure we can continue providing clean, safe care for the injured and orphaned wildlife that depend on us.
We would also like to give a special thank you to Sound Furniture & Appliance for working with us to help purchase the best machines possible for our facility’s needs. Your help and guidance made this process so much easier, and we truly appreciate your support of local wildlife rehabilitation.
