With todays severe storms we implemented our severe weather protocols for our subscription herds on properties using invisible fences.
These herds have shelter options, similar to our fenced herds but we can also use the Nofence USA technology to additionally expand their areas to predetermined safe zones remotely, leveraging their natural instincts to keep them safe in a large area with lots of options to move out of danger. Post-storm, we guide them back to targeted grazing areas using remote technology or by visiting and walking them back.

All of our herds were kept safe, contained and comfortable in todays first round of storms and flooding that passed through. Many thanks to Nofence USA for all of their work with us on this program!

Odd side note. Watching our herds on our cell camera through the storms we saw that all of them choose not to use shelter. We think they liked the cooling rain after this heat.

What a fun weekend we had at the Migratory Bird and Arborday Celebration. The Goats Grazed for a couple hours targeting young saplings and seedlings of Norway Maples, Poison Ivy, Honey Suckle, Multiflora Rose, Bittersweet, Stinging Nettles and more. This was a well manage woodlands with young invasives creeping in so a well targeted graze to hit just those and leave the natives was done.
