Ash #98 was filled with roping, wind, beautiful gardens, and magical October weather. We have worked at this particular property a few times. Her gardens and landscaping are amazing, but it brings on some logistical challenges. This is our thing though - taking the time & care to make sure our customers stuff isn’t damaged. Does it take extra time, extra muscle, & extra mental gymnastics - all, yes. However, no bee, flower, decoration or prize winning turnip were harmed during this Ash removal process 🐝🪻💀🫜 Thank you for trusting us 🫶 ( also, shoutout to our oldest, Bruce, for coming after school to help finish cleanup on a Friday! )

We picked up the truck this morning! HUGE shoutout to Plugs Garage! They did an amazing job making our new truck pop! We are so excited to put this thing to work. Thank you to everyone that commented on our posts about whether we should wrap it or not. And thank you to Plugs Garage for being easy to work with and showing up with their talent. ( and they fall into our shop local mindset as they are in Isanti, Chisago county 🙌 )

Guess what we did?!

Today was dream weather for October - it felt like summer ☀️ Mr Sweno was able to drop and limb Ash #96 & #97 before Mrs Sweno was done teaching at Wild River Fitness. It was a tight and winding path to move two trees, but we got everything chipped & cleaned, and looking like we were never there.

Enjoy this 2 ( Ash trees #94 & #95 of 2026 ) for 1 reel! The first was a simple limb down & notch. The second one required some extra care & time - we took down a few limbs that would have wreaked havoc on other trees. Then, we had two maasdams set so could roll the #95 out of the neighboring Maple, and land it the opposite direction of the septic mound, gardens, and landscaping. Add in all the fall vibes of sunshine & pretty leaves, and a super cool dog named Frank - this was such a fun job site.

Ash #92 of 2026 was definitely a full days work. Steep hill with a million acorns, wonky stem, 2 sheds below, and 30 MPH winds - whew! It was a gorgeous day for October though!

What a spectacular day to be working trees!

For your evening scrolling, behold - Ash #91 of 2026. This was a fairly simple drop up a hill. Jay dropped a few limbs to avoid hitting other trees & to better distribute the weight. We hauled out material, cleaned up & headed out 🙌
