This wood floor project involved more than the normal refinishing. Had to stitch in some replacement boards. Gotta wonder what was by chimney at one time?

Can't always match color this well, but sometimes I get lucky. 😁

This was a beautiful and time consuming project. Floors were so old and "mature" that they could be sanded. The homeowner picked an amazing color to dramatically change the 4 different colors into one. Sometimes a quilt isn't what you want for a floor.

Hi FB friends.

I'd like to take a survey. I'm looking at something that would basically be a monthly subscription model. I personally don't like the word "subscription", feels negative or burdensome. I've come up with a list and would like your input. Wish I could do a survey (if I figure that out soon I'll revamp this post).

Here was a challenging but rewarding project we worked on last week. An 1880s home that another company had been in the previous week to "refinish" the floors, however, the homeowner was not happy with their results. So we got to come in and remove their polyurethane, then prep the floors, finishing with some color and polyurethane. There are 2 videos in the comments...the results speak for themselves!

Cleaning the top first before we can start adding color and protection. It really is about the prep.
