Well guys.....I gave in abdomen bought all of these. I actually planted these a few weeks ago, but the good news is they're still alive and holding strong!

To be safe (or perhaps I overreacted) I made my husband cover the babies last night because I saw something about the weather and NO WAY AND I LOSING THESE! When the weather, no....if the weather ever changes we will take it off. I will vent it in a few days.

As you can see....there is still no corn planted in the "corn field". I just physically can't do it.

Still growing these little babies in the house..... still hope!

So after being sick of killing everything, we wanted to purposely kill the w**ds and moved on to the HUGE w**d problem. We went all our warfare on them. Husband burned them to the ground to kill the seeds, I pulled the roots and we used cardboard to s***f the rest out.
We had bought bad bird last year that was wanted with grass seeds some how and our flowerbeds turned in a lawn. No joke. So we had to literally start over.
I had always wanted to out in these box hedges and we saved up and bought a few every trip to the Home Depot until we had 10nof them! So here is the beginjngnof our landscaping!

Moving on to the next project....our pea and vean trellis. I planted all the pea and bean starts......but they died. Well, the beans didn't exactly die, they just haven't grown at all. This dirt is pretty much trash. I'm so disappointed. You can see in one of the pictures how sad the green beans looked after a few days. They are completely gone now. I did replant seeds and they have all stared and are growing, so I have hope. I'll post pictures soon.

I decided I wanted a corn garden. I hand dug it out, 10'x9'. It took me about a week....due to weather and I broke my little tool ans needed a new one. I planted the corn, but like everything else in this little experiment of mine.....it didn't sprout. I need to replant it this weekend, or when the weather is good again.
