CHADWICKS — The Central New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects recently hosted its annual Celebration of Architecture.

On October 23, 2025, SUNY Upstate Medical University unveiled two bronze sculptures by internationally renowned artist Carolyn Palmer, celebrating two trailblazing women in medicine — Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell and Dr. Sarah Loguen Fraser — who embody the very essence of possibility.

In collaboration with consultant Jim Palumbo, RLA, of Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt, our team at SMSA Architects led the site design for this meaningful project.

Last week we hosted an AIA Central New York building tour alongside the Owner of the Award-Winning 1926 Arts & Crafts Residence Renovation. The tour featured advanced building science with thoughtful craftsmanship to transform the house into a net-zero energy performer without compromising its original character. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the tour as we celebrated the dedication and care that went into this project.

• Pursuing ARE exams / Logging NCARB hours
• 0-3 years experience
• Entrepreneur Spirit with an interest in Professional Growth

Part time position offers up to 20 hours per week providing production drawings and spatial design in AutoCAD and Revit.
