It’s been a little while since we shared a recent project—but only because we’ve been busy transforming homes all across the area!

A few weeks ago we wrapped up this full main and rear stair project, and it was too good not to share. We took these outdated, carpeted stairs and old handrails and completely transformed them with modern white oak square-nosed treads, paired with sleek horizontal bar handrails finished in a true black stain. The end result speaks for itself!

We’ve been a little quiet… and that’s a good thing 😅

We haven’t posted much lately because we’ve been busy installing stairs and railings all over the area. Spring is just about fully booked, and we’ll soon be scheduling summer projects!

This project was a fun (and special) one. We completely rebuilt a staircase in a 1700s farmhouse, carefully matching this to the two original staircases on the first floor. The previous owners tried to modernize it, however the original installer may not have been familiar with proper stair construction techniques, and the style just didn’t fit the home. We completely removed it and brought the staircase back to a look that feels true to the house and its history!

It’s been a little while since we’ve posted a new project — between the holidays, family time, and a calendar full of stairs and railing makeovers, we’ve been BUSY in the best way. 🎄👨‍👩‍👧

But just because you haven’t seen us, doesn’t mean we haven’t been out there making dream stairs and railings come true. 👷‍♂️✨

Here’s one we completed last month around Thanksgiving time. The homeowner had new flooring installed and wanted her railings to match — so we transformed the space with fresh, modern railings that tie the whole home together. An upgrade that made a huge statement!

It’s amazing how a small upgrade can change the whole feel of your home! 🏠

We just finished replacing a homeowner’s railings, and even before the rest of their projects are done, the difference is huge. We took out their old railing and installed clean, modern square box newel posts, maple railings that tie in perfectly with their new LVP floors, and iron balusters for a simple, classy look.

The stairs will be re-carpeted once a few other things are wrapped up, but already the whole space feels brighter and more modern.
