I am a self-taught acrylic fluid artist - sharing my love of painting and the artwork I create! I love how this technique of painting is so freeing and allows creative intent along with "happy accidents" (thank you, Bob Ross!). I began painting in my youth, perhaps inherited some abilities from my grandmother (who was an amazing painter), and then started focusing on exploring and honing my skills with fluid painting. Different paintings. Different possibilities. One starting point. 🎨✨

So many of my paintings begin the same way… paint poured onto a canvas, then blown into motion.

And yet, no two ever turn out the same.

The colors interact differently. The paint finds its own path. Unexpected things happen. And somewhere in the chaos, something completely unique begins to emerge.

I never know exactly what a painting will become when I start. And honestly? That’s one of my favorite parts. 💙

Sometimes, we get so caught up in the noise of everyday life that we forget we don’t have to be doing something every second.

So let this be your little reminder to slow down, breathe, and give yourself permission to simply be.

As I create with fluid acrylics, I’m reminded that not everything needs to be rushed or controlled. Sometimes, there’s beauty in letting go and seeing what unfolds. 🎨

Sometimes chaos feels inevitable. 🌌 Especially right now living in America.

The messy middle. The uncertainty. The moments when nothing seems to make sense, and all you can see is the chaos.

This painting began that way — a fluid acrylic pour with no clear shape, no obvious direction, just a beautiful kind of mess.

But then, layer by layer, something began to emerge. With the addition of white and gold, the chaos transformed into something entirely different. Something intentional. Something beautiful.

And maybe life can be like that, too. ✨

Kindness down to each other, a neighbor helping another, our capacity for caring outweighs the cruelty being played up.

Sometimes beauty shines bright amongst the chaos.

Tempest 🌊

Sometimes the painting you envision doesn’t happen on the first try… or the second...or the fourth.

Fluid acrylics have a mind of their own, and this piece took several attempts before everything finally came together the way I imagined it. Each version taught me something, brought me closer, and ultimately led to Tempest.

A little reminder that changing direction isn’t failure — sometimes it’s part of the process. ✨

Sometimes, you just need to return to a moment that brought you peace. 🤍

A little flashback to this painting I created in 2023 — one of the most soothing and lovely pieces I’ve made.

Soft warm gray, light olive green, light sienna brown, pale rose, bronze, and touches of gold came together so quietly in this piece. Watching the process again feels like stepping back into that peaceful moment.

I hope this painting brings a little of that same feeling to you. ✨

Rejection really, really sucks.

I recently found out that I wasn’t accepted into an art show I’ve been wanting to be a part of for the past two years.

And honestly? It hurts.

I feel like I’m going through all the stages of grief over this one because I really, really, really wanted to be in this show.

I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only artist who has felt this way. There are so many incredibly talented, hardworking, deeply creative artists who hear “no” from galleries, exhibitions, jurors, and shows they hoped to be part of.

And sometimes, that “no” hits hard.

So I’m trying to remind myself:

This does not mean I’m not good enough.
This does not mean I give up.
This does not mean I stop learning and growing in my craft.
This does not mean my art has less meaning.
This does not mean I stop showing up.

It just means this particular opportunity wasn’t mine this time.

All I can do is keep being true to myself.
Keep making.
Keep learning.
Keep growing.
Keep applying.
And treasure those moments when my art connects with another person.

Which brings me to this painting. 🤍

I’m sharing a little glimpse into the making of a piece I created awhile ago—one that sold earlier this year to the sweetest couple.

They told me they connected with the painting because they felt it embodied their individual energies and the energy they share together.

That means everything to me.

Because at the end of the day, having my artwork bring meaning, connection, and happiness to someone else is what it’s all about.

So, yes, I’m disappointed.
I’m going to let myself feel it.

And then I’m going to keep painting.

Just a girl… with fluid acrylics, a blow dryer, way too many colors, and absolutely no intention of keeping it simple. 💜🎨✨

From the first layer to the final blowout — watching all these colors come together is my favorite part.

A little glimpse into the making of this fluid acrylic piece 🤎🌿

There’s something about watching these colors move and blend that feels almost meditative.

I layered rich neutrals with earthy greens, pale blush, brown, bronze and touches of gold… and, of course, I had to sneak in that random color I couldn't resist adding — a smokey blue-gray. 💙

The finished design reminds me of a plant I could stare at for hours — organic, calming, and quietly beautiful. 🌿

I love how fluid acrylic painting creates these unexpected shapes and little moments of magic. You can have an idea of where you’re going, but the paint always gets a vote. ✨
