I feel thankful that our home is intact and we slept well in our beds last night.

The guys are getting out for a maintenance job or 2 this morning, but staying weather aware. I know we can get fatigued with all the hype about upcoming storms, but I am paying attention.

I'm putting our patio furniture and gazing balls in the garage and maybe lining up my planters together? I have my hand crank radio charging and I have flashlights ready to go.

My husband and I have 4 dogs and 3 cats and my 95 year old mother to keep protected. We don't have a basement but an interior walk-in closet which may get quite cozy later.

I'm send good thoughts and love that everyone stays safe. Take care of yourself and your families!

The spireas and lilac are going to relish the sunlight and air they are getting now!

If I were to further design this, I see a couple of limelight hydrangeas and some knockout roses to really showcase the beauty of this homes design and lend a little privacy.

I'm so ready to design for you! We have about 2-3 weeks of work to catch up on, but setting up new consultations are around the corner! 🐝
