Another stellar repair! This customer had this shower built roughly 8 years ago and it originally had a premade pan installed. When that failed they had another contractor come in and to the first repair… well needless to say improper materials and methods were used and the failure continued, so we came in and fixed them up correctly! Talk about some tile! 7,300 pounds of it! Huge thank you to Arizona tile for packaging up this tile so beautifully, not a single tile was broken in shipping or transport here to the job site! Can’t wait to show you all the end result of this whole home flooring makeover!

Busted this Saltillo tile install out of the park with a fellow installer, always love getting the opportunity to work with other amazingly talented installers! We installed all of this in 3 half days as we both are a bunch of sissies when that big beautiful sun is burning our skin right off the bone! We see this far to much here in the valley with these spec homes. Customer had a few tiles come completely loose over the past few months on their upstairs master bath. At some point they had hired a company to repair the loose tiles; which they did but unfortunately alot of these repair only companies don’t have a full grasp of why a tile came loose. WE DO! This particular job whomever did the job originally used staples to “secure” the backer board to the subfloor… staples will not hold the substrate for very long, long enough for these companies to get paid and scram!🤦🏻‍♂️ after removing the tiles we secured the backer board appropriately seamed it and then reinstalled the tile. Came out better then before and now the homeowners have the reassurance that they can safely walk around there bathroom with out fear of tiles coming loose or cracking!

This tile is 25 years old and had no spare tiles so removing them in one piece was the upmost importance!
