Honestly, we’re not sure if that’s a skill we should encourage… but she’s really good at it.

When she’s not keeping the First Due crew on their toes, Zaylee enjoys playing with her friends and being a kid.

She gets to spend time with her stepdad and her mom while getting to be what she considers the most important position in the company…

Next up in our Meet the Crew series is one of the younger members of the First Due family — Ryker Harper, our Right Hand Man & Laborer! 👊

🔨 Role: Right Hand Man / Laborer
🚨 With First Due: Since the beginning
🛠️ Experience: First job!

First Due is Ryker’s first experience in the working world, and he’s already getting the chance to learn new skills, work with his hands, and see what it takes to turn an idea into something real.

Favorite part of the job?
Getting to help build stuff! 🔨

Favorite type of project?
Decks! 🪵

Favorite tool?
The saw! 🪚

Fun fact:
Ryker is really good with electronics and wiring, so when something needs a little electrical troubleshooting, he’s our guy! ⚡

When he’s not working on First Due projects, you’ll probably find him playing video games. 🎮

So why does Ryker enjoy working with First Due?

He gets to learn new skills and hang out with people, all while being part of something that his family is building together.

For a first job, we’d say he’s off to a pretty good start! 👊

🚨 MEET THE CREW — HANNA 🚨

You’ve met the builders, the brainstormers, and the Boss Office Lady… now it’s time to meet the person helping make sure you actually see what First Due is up to! 📱

Meet Hanna Harper, our Lead Social Media Expert and the oldest stepdaughter of First Due owner, Tristan! 👋

📱 Role: Lead Social Media Expert
🚨 With First Due: Since the beginning
💻 Experience: None… but she knows how to use electronics, so we figured that was good enough. 😂

Favorite part of the job?
Helping brainstorm ideas for our social media and figuring out new ways to show people what First Due is all about.

Favorite type of project?
A fully completed project! Because that’s when she gets to see the finished product and capture the reaction from the customer. 👏

Favorite tool?
The miter saw! 🪚
(We’re not completely sure she’s actually allowed to use it yet… 😂)

Fun fact:
Hanna has a wiener dog! 🌭🐶

When she’s not helping with First Due, Hanna stays busy playing softball 🥎, volleyball 🏐, and babysitting.

So why does Hanna enjoy being part of First Due?

She loves getting to see the look on a customer’s face when they see their completed project for the first time. That reaction is one of the best parts of what we do!

From helping brainstorm social media ideas to showing off the finished projects, Hanna has been part of First Due from the very beginning.

We’re glad to have her on the team! ❤️

Next up in our Meet the Crew series is Humberto Deleon, one of the newest members of the First Due Deck & Fence crew! 👋

🔨 Role: Laborer
🚨 With First Due: 2 months
🛠️ Experience: Humberto has been helping build and create things since he was just 6 years old!

What is he best at?
Being himself! And honestly, that’s exactly what we want. 😂

Favorite part of the job?
Having the right people around to get the job done.

Favorite type of project?
Any project! He’s ready to jump in and help wherever he’s needed.

Favorite tool?
The saw! 🪚

Fun fact:
Humberto met his wife in middle school! ❤️

When he’s not working, Humberto enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

So why did Humberto join First Due?

It started with friendship. When a great friend decided to start something new, Humberto wanted to be there to support him. He believes in supporting small businesses, seeing people succeed, and being there for the people around him.

And that’s exactly the kind of person we’re proud to have on the First Due crew.

🚨 MEET THE CREW — MATTHEW 🚨

Next up in our Meet the Crew series is Matthew Troyer, one of the guys helping bring First Due Deck & Fence projects to life!

🔨 Role: Laborer / Brainstormer
🚒 With First Due: Since the beginning
🪵 Experience: Matthew got his start building fences with his grandpa about 16 years ago.

And just like Tristan, Matthew has a background in the fire service. He’s been a junior firefighter, a full-time firefighter, and a volunteer firefighter. 🚒

When it comes to First Due, Matthew brings a combination of hands-on experience, creativity, and a willingness to think outside the box.

Favorite part of the job?
Giving a customer something they’re proud enough of to brag about to their friends.

Favorite type of project?
Anything outside of the “norm.” Custom builds are where he really enjoys getting creative.

Favorite tool?
His impact driver. 🔨

Fun facts about Matthew:
👶 He’s a proud new dad to a newborn daughter.
🚗 He can fix just about anything on a vehicle.

When he’s not building, you’ll probably find him playing guitar 🎸, fishing 🎣, hunting 🦌, or training dogs 🐕.

So why does he enjoy working with First Due?

“I get to create something out of nothing alongside my best friend.”

And honestly, that pretty much sums up what First Due is about — taking an idea, putting in the work, and creating something that wasn’t there before.

First things first… Brandon wouldn’t let me get a good picture of him. 😂 So you’re just going to have to trust us that he actually looks like a professional when he’s on the job!

Next up in our Meet the Crew series is Brandon Favuzzi, one of the guys helping keep the First Due operation moving — literally! 😂

🚒 Day Job: Full-Time Firefighter
🔨 Role: Foreman / Equipment Operator / Hauler
🚨 With First Due: Since the start
🛠️ Experience: Carpentry • Welding • CDL

Brandon brings a little bit of everything to the First Due crew. From carpentry and welding to operating equipment and hauling materials, he’s one of the guys we can count on to get things where they need to be and keep the job moving.

Favorite part of the job?
Working with family and friends. 👊

Favorite type of project?
Building decks! 🪵🔨

Favorite tool?
Anything Milwaukee. 🔴

Fun fact:
Brandon is going back to school to earn his Fire Science degree! 🚒📚

When he’s not working, studying, or building, you’ll probably find him duck hunting 🦆, fishing 🎣, or cooking 🍳.

So why does Brandon enjoy working with First Due?

Because it’s an enjoyable experience — and he gets the opportunity to teach and work alongside his younger cousin, who comes out to help from time to time.

For Brandon, First Due is more than just another job. It’s another opportunity to work alongside family and friends, pass along what he knows, and build something together.

🚑 Day Job: Full-time Emergency Medical Technician working on an ambulance

When she’s not helping keep First Due running, Katlyn works full-time as an EMT on an ambulance, all while being a wife and mom of 3. Needless to say, she stays busy!

Experience?
Well… she’s good with numbers and yelling at the guys when they mess up. 😂

Favorite part of the job?
Working alongside her husband. ❤️

Favorite type of project?
Decks… they’re easier. 😉

Favorite tool?
The saw! 🪚

Fun fact:
Katlyn isn’t just the Boss Office Lady — she’s the owner’s wife and the proud mom of 3 fantastic children. ❤️

When she’s not working on First Due or riding on an ambulance, you can usually find her doing one of the most important jobs of all…

What started as a dream has become something we’re building together — one project, one customer, and one board at a time.

Katlyn has been here from the very beginning, helping behind the scenes and making sure everything keeps moving forward. Between EMS, family, and First Due, she has a lot on her plate — and somehow still keeps us all going. ❤️
