Born & raised on the Emerald Isle, James O'Mara's love for nature was cultivated from an early age. Inspired by the beautiful gardens and the lush green landscapes of County Wicklow, he began growing vegetables for sale at the local town market. What started as a hobby, soon blossome
d into a course of study in Horticulture at Warrenstown College. After completing his studies, James shared his knowledge & skill by implementing an Agricultural Studies curriculum for a High School in Swaziland. Two and a half years later upon his return to Ireland, he met and married his wife Kate. Landing on the shores of the United States in the mid 1980's, James perfected his skills through hands-on work in the landscaping trade, and starting O'Mara Landscaping and Lawn Care Inc. Since then, the O'Mara's have found success serving the local Chapel Hill Community with professional landscaping and lawn care services.
