Bob has grown orchids for more than 35 years and has been selling his plants in the Chapel Hill area for 20 years. We specialize in orchids that you won't normally find in the big-box store; primarily Cattleyas. We are a source for Orchiata growing media, which has become our favorite media for many species. We stock 5 liter and 40 liter bags or will custom bag whatever you want. Call, text, or email to make an appointment!

I am a member of several different Facebook orchid group and spend a lot of time supporting them, but I have noticed that orchid culture is not really addressed by most of them, especially Cattleya culture, which is kind of my thing.

So, I have started a Cattleya culture Facebook group to fill that need. Everyone is welcome to participate, the more the merrier, but I would prefer to keep the discussions specific to Cattleyas as much as possible. There are other better places to get growing information about your grocery store Phalaenopsis.
