One of the many treasures I brought home from Round Top.

This cowgirl truly had my name written all over her. The funny part? When we first stumbled upon this incredible artist, I had my eye on a completely different piece. I asked to hold it and told him I’d come back at the end of the day—if I hadn’t spent every last penny.

When I returned, he surprised me with this sketch… and it felt so much more like me. I knew instantly she was coming home with me.

She now hangs in my powder room, where the blue from her bandana pairs perfectly with my wallpaper. I find myself sneaking in there just to admire her. She’s a daily reminder of such a special trip with some of my closest girlfriends.

Designer Drink time!! It’s 50 degrees here in NY, and the last day of February so let’s celebrate with a grapefruit spritz, or what we called Fifty & Fabulous when we served it at my 50th birthday. Here’s how:

Fill a wine glass with ice
Add 1.5 oz St. Germain
Fill the wine glass 2/3 of the way with grapefruit juice
Stir
Top with prosecco
Garnish with a grapefruit wedge

Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves… sign me up. One of my favorite styling assignments to date. We layered in the prettiest light green grasscloth and then curated a beautifully collection of accessories for a fresh, collected look.
