Last fall, the girls volleyball team organized a fundraiser in Jeff’s honor. Through the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to give back to a few students pursuing careers in the trades. Education and the trades were two of Jeff’s greatest passions, and it was truly an honor to help support these three young men as they begin their next chapter.

One year ago, we lost an incredible man — a husband, father, grandfather, business owner, and friend. While Jeff may no longer be with us physically, we know he has been watching over Hazen Contracting every step of the way.

Through faith, strength, and the support of our amazing employees, family, friends, and community, we have continued to grow and move forward while carrying his legacy with us every single day. We are forever grateful to everyone who stood beside us during one of the hardest times in our lives.

Today, we don’t just remember Jeff — we celebrate him. His work ethic, kindness, leadership, and love continue to guide us, and we know God has him watching over all of us from above.

His memory lives on in every project, every milestone, and every person whose life he touched. 🤍

Our season is off to a great start, and we’re hoping the weather starts looking up for all of us soon! Today we had the opportunity to show off our paver and new truck at Munson Elementary’s Vehicle Day. We always enjoy getting involved with the community and sharing what we do with the kids! ❤️

Fill out an application and tell us what your plans are. Applications are available at the Chardon High guidance office, the Auburn Career Center guidance office, or message us, we will get an application to you. Applications are due March 31, 2026.

The Chardon High Volleyball program is holding a raffle and fundraiser on Thursday September 25th during the volleyball games. All proceeds will go for two scholarships (one male and one female) who are going into the trades. These will be awarded in Jeff’s name. Our family is so humbled and grateful they would choose to honor Jeff in this way. We’d love to see you on the 25th!
