Bathroom remodel progress update.

10 days into this project and we’ve gone from a builder-grade bathroom to a fully waterproofed curbless shower with continuous porcelain hex flooring and feature wall tile underway.

One thing homeowners rarely get to see is everything that happens behind the finished surfaces:

• Demo to framing
• Plumbing modifications
• Electrical updates
• Waterproofing systems
• Shower preparation
• Tile layout and installation

The finished photos are always exciting, but the quality of a bathroom is determined long before the final fixtures are installed.

✨ From Builder-Grade to Spa-Worthy ✨

This shower started as a standard framed enclosure with a bulky sliding door and basic finishes.

🔨 We completely transformed the space by:
✅ Removing the existing shower and opening the area up
✅ Building a fully waterproof Wedi shower system
✅ Adding a custom shower bench and recessed niche
✅ Installing floor-to-ceiling tile for a clean, timeless look
✅ Upgrading to matte black fixtures and frameless glass
✅ Creating a brighter, more spacious feel throughout the entire bathroom

The difference is night and day. The frameless glass keeps the room feeling open, while the custom tile work and bench turn an everyday shower into a space that feels more like a personal retreat. 🚿✨

Another big step forward on this custom deck transformation! 🔨

The new TimberTech composite decking is installed, picture framing is complete, and the deck is really starting to take shape. Next up: cable railing, lighting, and the finishing details that will bring the entire project together.

A special shoutout to Bo and Josh for all their hard work on this one. These large custom projects take a tremendous amount of effort, attention to detail, and teamwork, and they’ve been putting in the work every day to help bring this vision to life.

Big transformation underway on this backyard remodel. 🔨

We started by removing the original wood deck and failing stone columns before rebuilding the structure from the ground up with new framing and upgraded foundations.

The new layout will feature:

This kitchen went from a darker, heavier feel with black granite to a bright, open, modern centerpiece with stunning quartz countertops and a refreshed backsplash. The oversized island now completely changes the feel of the space — lighter, cleaner, and way more inviting for entertaining and everyday living.

✔ Removed existing black granite countertops
✔ Installed new quartz countertops with dramatic veining
✔ Updated backsplash for a brighter, cohesive look
✔ Maintained the bold matte black fixtures for contrast
✔ Completely transformed the overall feel without a full kitchen remodel

This project featured:

✔ Multi-level design with dual stair access
✔ Custom picture-frame detailing throughout
✔ Low-maintenance materials built to handle Ohio weather year after year

The split staircase and landing layout completely transformed the flow of this space while giving the deck a balanced, custom-built look from every angle.

One of our favorite parts of this build is the contrast between the Rocky Harbor decking and the crisp white/black railing combination — modern, clean, and timeless.
