The response to our new Tumbleweed has been incredible!
We’ve had a lot of people asking what it’s made of, how it moves, and what sizes it comes in, so we wanted to put together a post with more pictures and all the details.
The Tumbleweed was designed to be a simple, heavy-duty solution that provides shade during the summer and can easily be tipped over and used as a windbreak in the winter.
Every Tumbleweed is built with a 100% welded steel frame and sits on four heavy-duty steel runners that run the entire length, making it easy to hook onto a tractor or pickup and move wherever your livestock need it.
One feature we’re especially excited about is the roof. Instead of standard sheet metal, we use 13mm (1/2”) Wabash DuraPlate® panels.
DuraPlate was originally engineered for the trucking industry, where strength and durability are critical. It consists of two galvanized steel skins bonded to a high-density polyethylene core, creating a panel that’s incredibly tough, lightweight, and built to handle years of hard use. It’s one more way we’re building a product that will last.
