• Time tracking for payroll

MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR - Full Time

JOB SUMMARY:
- Oversee ongoing lawn/property maintenance visits for approx. 180-200 customers (approx. 80-100 visits weekly)
- Participate with crew on completing all visit-related tasks (mowing, edging, w**d-eating, blowing, w**d spray, pruning, etc.)
- Monitor timeliness and effectiveness of crew members and ensure employee issues are communicated to office and/or owners
- Ensure Quality Check for every service visit upon completion
- Maintain job equipment such as: changing mower blades, string w**d eaters, check filters, oil and tire pressure.
- Check crew member time clocks weekly for payroll
- Ensure consistency and quality standard across all visits
- Ability to assess specific property requirements and perform duties in accordance with company procedures and policies.
- Willing and able to communicate with the office using our online/mobile scheduling app to give information about visit issues, customer concerns, anything that may impede services, etc.
- Able to lift and move 25-50 lbs.
- Pay scale based on experience (Sunshine Lawn Care is in the top paying tier for our industry)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have prior landscaping experience (with reference) and know how to operate riding & stand-on mowers, zero-turn, and stick equipment (w**d eater, edger, etc.)
- Prior crew management preferred
- Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record (enough to go on company vehicle insurance)
- Must have a smartphone to use job specific software application
- Availability Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 4:00 pm
- Applicants must be reliable, responsible, self-motivated, have strong attention to details, and have the ability to interact with customers respectfully.

GENERAL LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS - Full Time

JOB SUMMARY:
- Complete all maintenance visit related tasks: mowing, edging, w**d-eating, blowing, pruning of hedges, w**d pulling/spraying, spreading and installation of mulch/pine straw, etc.
- Operate self-propelled riding equipment & stand-on mowers, zero-turn, and stick equipment (w**d eater, edger, etc.)
- Maintain job equipment such as: changing mower blades, string w**d eaters, check filters, oil and tire pressure
- Applicants must have good physical stamina and be able to lift and move 25-50 lbs when necessary
- Applicants must be reliable, responsible, self-motivated, have strong attention to details, and have the ability to interact with customers respectfully
- Ensure consistency and quality standards across all visits
- Ability to assess specific property requirements and perform duties in accordance with company procedures and policies
- Perform quality check for every service upon completion

Busy residential and commercial landscape company is looking for a hardworking, kind, and responsible person to start as a landscape technician in James Island area.
Must be able to lift fifty pounds, drive a mower, use portable power equipment and be able to perform manual labor with hand tools, etc.
Valid driver’s license and own transportation is required.
Can train if you are hard working with a positive attitude and willing to learn.

Chemical Program
The Chemical Program is our service program to provide treatment services to your lawn such as turf w**d control, fertilizer, fungicide and insecticide. We base this loosely on the Clemson Agricultural Schedule for applying each of these treatments. However, we realize that each lawn is unique and, as such, has unique needs to keep it at its best. Mosquito control is available as a yearly program option or a one-time treatment. For chemical applications, you can trust around your home.
Chemical Program treatments are billed on a per-visit basis, so you are only paying for the services you receive, as opposed to an annual or monthly fee.
These products are available by request as one-time services for customers not on Chemical Program, but the per-visit application cost is higher.
An example of a typical Chemical Program for the year would look like:
Pre-emergent – preventive w**d killer; four applications, performed quarterly, one per season.
Post-emergent – w**d killer for w**ds that still come up despite being pre-emergent (yes, those happen no matter how hard we try to stop them – this is a subtropical climate!!); this is done on an as-needed basis per yard.
Fungicide – a minimum of 2 applications per year, but often requires more, especially for customers with St. Augustine grass (which will require monthly in most cases) and/or lawns that hold excess moisture.
Insecticide – at least once, but also done as-needed. This is also how we treat for moles, by killing their food source. When used in that capacity, it is generally around every three months or so.
Fertilizer – as needed.
We also offer a discount to our maintenance customers, that add Chemical program to there service.
