Robert Sheets died today. He was a good friend. Robert was a City of Charleston City Council Member, LGBTQ activist, former manager of the Tap Room, founder of the annual Pride Picnic held at Coonskin Park, president of the Prime Timers, vice-president of the Living AIDS Memorial Garden, long time member of the Kanawha County Democratic Executive Committee, Power of One recipient, and mentor to many non-profit organizations.

Today, we had a major loss in our community.
