Watching the ground-up construction of the new Transportation Building for Ritchie County Schools is truly exciting. Jarrett Construction Services has made significant progress over the last few weeks, with the masonry work nearly topped out, and trusses already on site.

This new facility will feature three drive-in bays with 20'-0" vertical clearance to accommodate bus maintenance. The sides of the bays provide ample space for existing equipment, ensuring a functional and efficient layout. Additional spaces include a new director's office, dedicated parts storage, a small break room with ADA-compliant restrooms, and mezzanine storage (with removable handrail) above these areas.

The new Transportation Building is set to greatly enhance the district’s maintenance capabilities and provide a modern, accessible environment for staff and equipment.

We’re excited to report that the Duval PK8 for Lincoln County Schools WV is showing impressive progress! With the arrival of more favorable weather conditions, construction has accelerated considerably. Now that all areas are under roof, Paramount Builders has been able to focus on interior finishes in sections that are further along.

We anticipate that even more interior finishes will be installed in the coming months as we move steadily toward the completion date. The team’s dedication and the recent good weather are truly making a difference in bringing this project to fruition.

**Project Update** Construction at the new Anna Jarvis Elementary School, in Grafton, West Virginia, for Taylor County Schools, WV, is progressing spectacularly. City Construction Company has been working diligently over the past several months, constructing walls, floors, roofs, and more to maintain the project schedule. Everything is moving along smoothly and remains on track. Kudos to City Construction Company for their hard work and dedication!

Duval PK8 for Lincoln County Schools WV is making impressive progress. Just a few months of favorable weather have made a significant difference in the project’s status, allowing for substantial advancements and keeping the construction timeline on track.

The administration area, gymnasium, and core areas are under a roof, with the academic wings going vertical.

** Project Update**

Aerial photographs capture the impressive transformation of the new Duval Pre-8 School for Lincoln County Schools WV. Since October, the site has undergone substantial development. By February, the building pad was prepared for the construction of the new building. As April arrived, construction progressed further with the er****on of the school’s structure, with the gymnasium under roof by mid-May. Now in June, the contractor is starting the masonry walls in the academic areas.

This exciting development promises to create a dynamic learning space for students, equipped with modern facilities and a welcoming environment for the entire community. The ongoing work reflects the commitment to enhancing educational opportunities in Lincoln County Schools WV.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of two exceptional interns who will be joining us this summer!

Griffin Willis is pursuing his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Kentucky and is set to graduate this fall, bringing fresh perspectives to our team.

William Buchanan is on his way to completing his Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Fairmont State University and will enter his senior year this fall, ready to contribute his enthusiasm and creativity.

We are eager to guide them through all facets of architecture and anticipate a rewarding summer ahead!
