Big thanks to Barringer Construction for capturing this great aerial view of the latest 52,000 SF PEMB expansion at Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company’s Florida operations! 🏗️

Excited to see another phase of growth taking shape for a long-standing industry leader.

An expansion like this takes a rock-solid site and a whole lot of coordination to keep things moving. 💪

For Charlotte Pipe & Foundry’s Florida expansion, we delivered a 52,000 SF PEMB addition, a 190,000 SF heavy-duty laydown yard, and targeted renovations, all while keeping active production and manufacturing fully operational. That meant extensive logistics planning, constant coordination, and a true partnership with the client to safely build around ongoing operations without missing a beat.

Behind the scenes, heavy sitework and strategic sequencing laid the groundwork for long-term performance, ensuring the facility could expand without slowing down.

And as a Nucor Building Systems Authorized Builder, we bring the speed, efficiency, and precision of PEMB construction, helping repeat clients scale smarter, from the ground up.

A special congratulations to WGM Design Managing Principal Matt Spiva’s son, Jake Spiva, who graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this weekend! 🎓

Jake earned his degree in Economics with a minor in Real Estate, and we could not be more excited for him and the entire Spiva family as he celebrates this incredible accomplishment. 👏

As a small firm, WGM is a close-knit team that loves celebrating one another’s milestones—both professional and personal—and this is certainly one worth celebrating. Congratulations, Jake!

We were honored to attend the ribbon cutting for The John Crosland School's brand new Exploratorium! 🔬 🧮 🎮 🩰 🧗 🎨

What was once an underutilized warehouse has been transformed into 19,000+ SF of dynamic, hands-on STEAM focused space—designed for students to experiment, explore, challenge themselves, and learn in new ways.

Having partnered with Crosland since 2010, it’s incredibly rewarding to see this vision come to life. We’re grateful for the continued trust and excited for what’s ahead together.

Shoutout to our internal project team—Matt Spiva, Erin Goedde, and Nick Craver—for their thoughtful work and design leadership in bringing this space to fruition. And a special thank you to our friends at Edison Foard Construction who brought our vision to life!
