Designed around an expansive vaulted living space meant for gathering, the guesthouse balances openness with intimacy. While the central living area invites connection and conversation, the bedrooms were envisioned as quiet, private retreats positioned on either side of the house, both upstairs and down.
Though each bedroom mirrors the same architectural footprint, we wanted every space to carry its own distinct point of view, much like the guests who will retreat here.
This room became the moodiest of the collection. Wrapped in a velvety plum that shifts beautifully with the mountain light, it offers a richer contrast to the soft greens and layered neutrals woven throughout the rest of the home. Quietly dramatic, deeply restful, and designed to feel completely transportive.
