Every dream home begins differently: with an idea, an inspiration, or simply a vision for how you want to live.

At Whitlock Builders, we work alongside our clients and their design teams to transform that vision into a home that feels distinctly their own. Through thoughtful collaboration, meticulous attention to detail, and generations of building expertise, we bring ambitious ideas to life with the craftsmanship and care they deserve.

Your vision sets the direction. The Whitlock Way brings it home.

For Whitlock Builders, building well means more than delivering an exceptional finished home.

It means communicating clearly. Keeping promises. Respecting the vision. Paying attention to the details. Above all, building relationships founded on trust and transparency.

Those principles have guided Whitlock since 1957, and they continue to define the Whitlock Way today.

10/22/2026

A thoughtful renovation does more than change a home; it considers what is worth preserving and what can be reimagined for the way you live today.

Whitlock Builders brings the same attention to detail, craftsmanship, and client experience to renovation projects as we do to new custom homes. The goal is a transformation that feels considered, cohesive, and true to the character of the home.

An exceptional home begins long before construction is complete.

The Whitlock Way is rooted in meticulous communication, careful tracking of details, and collaboration among clients, architects, designers, and skilled trade partners. That disciplined process allows ambitious architectural ideas to become beautifully crafted homes, and helps make the experience of creating them equally rewarding.

Exceptional homes are about more than individual rooms. They consider how spaces connect, how people move through them, and how the home relates to the property around it.

Thoughtful collaboration among builder, architect, designer, and landscape professionals helps create a cohesive whole: inside and out. At Whitlock Builders, that collaborative approach is an important part of bringing each client’s vision to life.

10/13/2026

A thoughtfully built home should feel relevant not only when it is completed, but for generations to come.

Whitlock Builders brings decades of experience to sophisticated architectural designs, combining time-honored craftsmanship with the expertise required to execute complex details beautifully. The result is a home created with permanence, purpose and integrity in mind.

10/08/2026

The character of a home is often found in the details. The proportions, materials, finishes, and craftsmanship come together to make a space feel entirely its own.

At Whitlock Builders, we understand that executing the smallest details can make a significant impact. It’s why precision remains central to the way we build, from the earliest plans through the final finish.

10/06/2026

Some things are built for today. Others are built to endure.

Since 1957, Whitlock Builders has approached every home with a commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and lasting relationships. Across generations, that commitment has remained at the heart of the Whitlock Way, bringing thoughtful architectural visions to life while creating an experience worthy of the finished home.

One Whitlock client shared that we built their home in 1967 and that their relationship with Whitlock continued for 60 years.

That kind of history says something meaningful about what it means to build for the long term.

For Whitlock Builders, the measure of a successful project goes beyond the day construction is completed. It can be found in the home years later, in the trust that remains, and in the relationships that continue long after the work is done.

We build homes with longevity in mind. We approach our relationships the same way.

“The Whitlock Way is special attention to the client and their goals for the project. From the onset of the first meeting, we ask the client, “What’s important to you about this project?” so that we can stay focused on it throughout the process.”

Tyler Mahan joined Whitlock Builders in 1989 as a carpenter. Today, he serves as Vice President of Production, bringing decades of experience across custom homes, remodeling, and Home Services.

His journey reflects an important part of the Whitlock legacy. Experience grows over time, knowledge is shared, and strong relationships remain at the center of the work.
