One year ago, on August 7th, I made a trip to Dallas to a convention where I didn’t know anyone, with products I wasn’t sure anyone would be interested in, after years of hesitation. This year, I sold out of all the diffusers and nearly all the candles, and it was our highest grossing day to date. Umu Igbo Unite UIUConnects has been such a blessing to my small business. Ijeoma Anadu Okoli thank you for your warm welcome and for creating a space where small businesses like mine feel seen. You’ve built something wonderful, and I’m grateful to be a small part of it.
Words simply cannot express my gratitude for all the people who came by my booth to try some of the scents, follow us on our socials, or purchase some of our products. It was lovely meeting new faces and a blessing to see some familiar ones. Thank you all so much for your support! Moments like this quiet my self-doubt and encourage me to push forward.
