Fellas three of my five stops this past week for estimates were on flipped houses guys..this is something I see far too often with a new home buyer especially a first time home buyer..the flippers and the realtors are not going to help you in this department.onesbjib is to get the house ready to sell fora quick turn around the others job is to sell it to get their commission..then you are stuck with the issues..
It's hard to get a customer to understand that floor coverings,paint ,lighting fixtures ,plumbing fixtures are far too often used as lipstick for a pig..have you or someone you trust look at homes electrical panel, the attic space..look UNDER the house..if your home inspector is not willing to crawl under a house fond another one..if they are not willing to go in your attic find another...far too often I go to a house recently purchased to tell a new homeowner a laundry list of things on their new purchase that is not good news.
With flippers and realtors it's a very much out of site out of mine game that's played..have someone you trust and someone fairly knowledgeable look UNDER the house..
