My husband and I have been working on starting our own build. So I was thrilled to come up with the floor plan that works best for us. One of my favorite things to do is design an entire floor plan from scratch. Space planning and making a whole house work in a way that makes sense, and every square foot has a purpose -is like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. It’s so fulfilling and exhilarating(we all have our thing 😆).
You only see 2 floor plans here, but in reality I designed 3 for us to choose from. As much as we loved the convenience of one story, we chose the 2 story. And soon, I’ll get to upload progress pictures of our very own -start to finish- design and build! I’m so excited 😆

Years ago I did this kitchen upgrade for a lovely couple. They just wanted to liven up their outdated kitchen into something more bright and trendy.
You don’t always have to demo the old to get the new. We just replaced the cabinet doors with craftsman’s style, changed out the hardware, painted, and replaced the backsplash. Completely changed the entire space most people spend a lot of their time in. It’s a wonder what a new updated kitchen will do!

Check out this Barndo floor plan I was able to design for a wonderful couple. They knew what they wanted and with some tweaking here and there along the way, we were able to come up with the perfect home/ginormous garage to fit every one of their needs! Custom designed and built - The asymmetric one was fun for me, it was like doing a puzzle 🧩 I was able to play around with placements and different feels until we came up with the perfect design. - Not for everyone - but it was exactly what the clients were looking for!
