We saw clustered mountain mint (Pycnanthemum Muticum) about to bloom in the gardens at the Riverbanks Botanical Garden in Columbia, Sc. This underrated plant has long lasting blooms that attract many pollinators. It's minty leaves make in unappealing to dear and rabbits. It grows well in dry to moist soils, in full or partial sun.
