Big shout out to the newest member of the ! Our “summer intern” completed his last requirement today and becomes his family’s third ISA Certified Arborist. We had some real concerns about the integrity of his achievement until we verified that he took his exam at a professional testing center. Neither his uncle () or his dad, and recent ISA Southern Chapter President, (.diffley) had any ability to help him pass the test.
Congratulations Caleb! Maybe you can write some prescriptions while you’re working with us during spring break!

After a few days helping a Scout camp in Kentucky remove hazardous trees, we are back in the CLT and back at it. Crammed the old chip truck full of logs to avoid a grapple truck load. No worries though, Scott will be hauling logs for us tomorrow!

On Wednesdays we wear purple and in January we do AirSpading! This Magnolia was designated for removal by the homeowner because of the damage it was doing to the carport. A few questions and some insights later….we made a plan to keep the tree and install a root barrier to protect the house.
