The current product line includes the industry pioneer Carolina Series 1736, and its younger brother, the Georgian Series 1836, both designed and built to comply with current Energy Star® standards. A full line of high-performance replacement windows fills out the product offerings. From the knock-out good looking AshlandTM Series 4300 single hung to the industry-envied LexingtonTM Series 4500, Moss truly has a window for every home and light commercial application. Moss has added manufacturing and distribution beyond its original plant in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ashland, Virginia is the home of replacement window specialists. If you were to visit the main plant on Graham Street in Charlotte, for instance, you would be greeted by a large number of employees who have been part of the Moss enterprise for over 30 years. Charlotte, North Carolina - Robert Moss, age 84, went to the arms of Jesus on Monday February 3, 2025.

Bob was born to Harry C. & Juanita C. Moss on July 21, 1940 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a graduate of East Mecklenburg in 1958, he was also a graduate of Wingate College. He was a veteran of the 108th Division of the US Army. He was the CEO of the family business, Moss Supply. He is survived by his wife, Cassandra of 48 years, and mother Juanita C. Moss. Amazing father and grandfather of four children and eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Children, Wendy Askew, Chiresse Levanson (Mark), Cassandra Ann Moss Nott, Robert Moss Jr., (Jatana). Grandchildren, Brittain Ammons (Nikki), Alex Ziros, Kelsey Levanson Ciucevich (Anthony), Frank Nott, Everett Nott, Evan Moss, & Jacob Moss. Great grandson Brayden Akers. Preceded in death by Harry C. Moss, father and PJ Beard, grandson. He enjoyed working on airplane models and recently was working on 3D wood models.

Service will take place on Friday, February 7th, 2025 at Sharon Baptist Church, 6411 Sharon Rd. Charlotte. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 and service at 11:00. Graveside is at Charlotte Memorial Gardens 7632 Hood Rd, Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Sharon Baptist Church and St. Jude’s.

Harry and Juanita Moss started Moss Supply Company 70 years ago. Patti Freeman has worked for the Moss family for 40 years and she, along with Mrs. Moss’s family, were excited to see her performing this week as she continues to enjoy dancing. Her birthday was November 1st and she is 104 years old.
