We’ve spent the last two days at the Garage Door U Summit in Las Vegas. We heard a challenging speech from Ryan Lucia on the struggles of leadership in business, a great roundtable discussion with Byron Burland and Melissa Hagan on business ownership and legacy plans, and an inspiring keynote speech from Steve Sims on the power of asking.

Our favorite event was today’s tour of the Zappos.com facilities and their revolutionary approach to customer service and employee empowerment. We look forward to seeing how we can integrate some of the principles we heard today into our customer service experience.

We'll be highlighting the versatility of SOMMER products and our vast array of accessories, as well as select products from other SOMER Group companies. Come see us at Booth 824 at the Las Vegas Convention Center on April 25-26.

We are excited to officially announce our new website for SOMMER USA! The new site includes easy and quick searches for manuals, brochures, and product information, more detailed information about the SOMMER Group companies, and even some hints regarding future products to be added to our portfolio.

Our retail and dealer stores are still at the same locations and use the same format our customers are familiar with, and the new website has links to both stores.

Thank you for your patience as we've worked hard to smooth the transition to the new site. We look forward to your continued input for improvement and streamlining.

Congratulations to the winners of the fishing tournament at the Garage Door U Summit this week! Michael with River City Door Company came in first place and won the iPad Pro, Selena with Top Quality Doors, LLC came in second place and got a Leatherman multi tool, and third place was Derek with Integrity Overhead Door, LLC who won the Paw Patrol fishing rod.
